Both of our passions is to see believers (men and women) be set free to enjoy unhindered relationship with God and others and to be set free to move closer to their God-given calling and destiny.

What have we seen hinder a person’s ability to have healthy relationships and be stuck in their personal growth?

Unhealed childhood wounding – in the form of emotional, physical, sexual, or spiritual abuse, and/or         neglect.

Unhealed experiences of loss and trauma – whether in childhood or adulthood.

And, just as, or more importantly, their human responses to these hurts –

Denial – “It wasn’t that big of deal,” ‘It’s just the way life goes,” “That’s just the way I am or the way my         caregivers were,” “That didn’t hurt or affect me,” or even, “It didn’t happen to me” (dissociation and         posttraumatic stress responses to severe abuse or neglect). Also, hiding and self-comforting in the
        form of addictions.

Their need to judge and punish the offender(s), plus the ones who should have been there to protect or         nurture them (parents and authority figures, including God).

Their formulated decisions (many times – lies) and inner vows to self-protect or to protect others made
in anger and resentment, which backfire, causing all sorts of life-long relational problems until they are                  uncovered and laid at the foot of the cross.

These are the issues focused on in what we are called to do – to be Prayer Ministers. This involves the use of the inerrant Word of God, dependence on the Holy Spirit to reveal to the individual the “hurtful ways” that keep them bound and are sometimes hidden deep within their soul. Then, taking the individual’s hand and leading them to Jesus, the Comforter, the Healer, the Deliverer, the Counselor, the Prince of Peace, we go to God in prayer and listen for His personal revelation to the individual’s personal soul and spirit, bringing them into freedom, wholeness, and a closer relationship with God, others, and self. These core issues deeply effect how a person thinks, feels, and behaves. Without bringing these issues to the cross of Jesus, the person will continue to live imprisoned by them. No amount of will-power will affect lasting change. This process also reduces the passing down of hurtful generational tendencies.

Eileen personally went through this sanctification process with Elijah House trained prayer ministers. Through this process, she was set free from overwhelming depression, anxiety, anger, fits of rage, posttraumatic stress responses, and an inability to receive the grace of God or to receive total forgiveness. She wishes to and knows that she is called to share the freedom that she has personally received and witnessed from the Lord with others.

Through Debra's own healing journey and prayer ministry training through Elijah House and other wonderful prayer ministry training organizations, the Lord has brought her to a place of sharing His healing grace with others.  Debra has been helping individuals and families since 1991 at Open Arms Christian Counseling. She also received her licensure in Mental Health Counseling in 2007. She has now retired from her Licensed Mental Health practice and will be providing Prayer Ministry through Restoration of the Heart.

Debra and Eileen also have a desire to train others – lay ministers and clergy alike – the Biblical principles of inner healing and how to pray healing prayers for individuals and families.  They both are looking forward to serving the Body of Christ in the greater Wenatchee area and beyond.
OUR BELIEFS

We believe that the Holy Bible was written by men who were inspired by the Holy Spirit. 2 Timothy 3:16.

We believe that there is only one true Creator God who is revealed in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Genesis 1:1 & 26; John 1:1-2 & 14; John 14:26; John 15:26.

We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ and that Jesus is the sinless Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin. Jesus is both human and divine. Matthew 1:18-25; Hebrews 2:16-18; Hebrews 4:5; Colossians 1:15-17; Philippians 2:6-8.

We believe that man and woman are created in the image of God, but fell into sin which resulted in ushering death, both physical and spiritual, into the world. Genesis 1:27; Romans 5:12-14; Romans 6:23.

We believe that all people can enter into restored fellowship with God through salvation. Salvation results when a person confesses with his mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believes in his heart that God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Romans 10:9-10.

We believe that Jesus Christ paid the price once and for all to secure forgiveness for sin for all humankind. Anyone can receive this forgiveness through accepting the sacrifice made by Jesus Christ on the cross. 1 John 2:2; Hebrews 10:12-14.

We believe that water baptism by immersion is an outward sign of the spiritual truth that the believer’s old way of life is buried in death and that the believer has been raised to a new way of life now that he has acknowledged Jesus Christ as his Lord. Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12.

We believe in the Communion of the saints by the sharing of food and fellowship in honor of the Lord Jesus Christ and in remembrance of his life, suffering and victory over sin and death. Luke 22:19-20; 1 Corinthians 11:23-26.

We believe that the baptism in the Holy Spirit is a subsequent experience to salvation that empowers believers for witnessing and effective service, just as it did in New Testament times. We believe that this experience is available to all believers. Acts 1:5, 8: Acts 2:4.

We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ and consists of the people who, throughout time, have accepted God's offer of redemption (regardless of religious denomination) through the sacrificial death of His son Jesus Christ. Ephesians 4:4; Hebrews 10:14-16.

We believe in the priesthood of the believer. 1 Peter 2:5; Revelation 1:6.

We believe that God desires his people to be healed and whole, spirit, soul and body.
Psalm 103:3; 1 Thessalonians 5:23; 3 John 2.
